California Association for Property & Evidence
Welcome Statue of Liberty
Orange County Regional Chapter

Welcome to our new improved web site!

The California Association for Property & Evidence (CAPE) proudly introduces a new year for the Orange County Regional Chapter!

We are "Back to Basics" and starting the 2003/2004 calendar term with a renewed commitment to making CAPE your key resource for growth and development in the property and evidence responsibilities.

Leading an organization means running a business, and it takes hard working and talented individuals to come together and volunteer their time for the good of the many. It is never easy.

However, building an effective web site can often make a huge difference in increasing our presence, making the availability of meeting information immediate, and providing a one-stop resource for contacts.

But, that's not all!

It is also a great way to build our history and be proud of our accomplishments, increase membership, and provide a simple line of communication for our members.

We'll use www.capeoc.org to provide a general background of our organization to re-introduce CAPE to entirely new property and evidence personnel working in our law enforcement and criminal justice agencies. As you know, we have a lot in common, such as  storage issues, purging and audit responsibilities, laws to abide by, and, ultimately, preserving the chain of evidence.

This year, we have plenty of expectations and a plan to make our CAPE Chapter a viable organization for training workshops, networking, and group participation. Everyone should be on the same page, focused with goals, and proud of the accomplishments as you represent your agency.

In today's environment where everyone's plates are filled, we know that making time for CAPE to join and participate monthly will benefit you, your agency and this organization.

We believe that www.capeoc.org acts as a kind of portal, giving you information at a glance, offering a background of the organization for those that want to get more actively involved on the Chapter Board, as well as continue to present an image of professionalism among property personnel regionally, and statewide.

So, please be sure to take your time and check out all of our web site and come back monthly for new information and announcements!

We're mentoring new members for 2004/2005.
